Crane Technician required for erection and dismantle of cranes, and full maintenance and service to our fleet.
Apprentice to Journeyman Carpenters Required
We have an immediate need for several carpenters of various levels for upcoming projects throughout the lower mainland. Specifically you should be able to construct, erect and repair buildings and other structures. Read blueprints and draw layouts including selecting materials, planning sequences and determining correct methods of work. Cut and shape materials, join them with nails, screws, bolts or glue. Check completed units and work to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location. Work in a safety oriented environment while successfully meeting set timelines and deadlines
Build, erect and align forms for various concrete structures and foundations. Estimate concrete quantities, appropriate mixes of sand and cement if concrete is hand mixed. Interpret blueprints and read survey stakes to establish correct grades. Utilizes hand tools and non-complex small power tools and also perform minor maintenance as required. You will also be required to maintain simple records and follow all safety protocols.
Keeping the job on schedule and effectively using the skills of all workers are the main job duties of a foreman. Adjust priorities to ensure maximum productivity while ensuring the site has adequate materials and tools. Training less experienced workers is a significant part of this job
